Lisa Marie Presley reportedly died following a second cardiac arrest after being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital.
The 54-year-old daughter of the late rock star Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, 77, passed away on Thursday shortly after experiencing a “cardiac arrest.” Her mother praised her as “the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known.”
According to recent reports, the singer-songwriter, who is survived by her daughters Riley Keough, 33, Finley and Harper Lockwood, 14, and her late son Benjamin Keough, died following a second cardiac episode.
Presley was reportedly declared brain dead after being admitted to the hospital. She was put on life support and placed in an induced coma.
She allegedly later suffered a second cardiac arrest, and was pronounced dead shortly soon after, according to TMZ.
The mother-of-four will be buried at Graceland, her late father’s Tennessee estate, next to her late son, who died by suicide in August 2020 at the age of 27.

A representative for daughter Keough said: ‘Lisa Marie’s final resting place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son, Ben.’
Presley previously shared her struggle with grief following Ben’s death, in a personal essay penned months before her death.
She wrote: ‘I’ve dealt with death, grief and loss since the age of nine years old. I’ve had more than anyone’s fair share of it in my lifetime and somehow, I’ve made it this far.

‘Death is part of life whether we like it or not — and so is grieving.’
Sharing the ‘devastating’ news of the American star’s death this week, heartbroken mother Priscilla said in a statement: ‘It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
‘She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.’

Tributes have poured in for Presley, including from celebrities such as John Travolta, Dolly Parton, and Pink.
Former partners – including ex-husband Nicolas Cage – and once sister-in-law La Toya Jackson also expressed their sorrow.
Speaking out for the first time, actor Cage said: ‘This is devastating news.

‘Lisa had the greatest laugh of anyone I ever met. She lit up every room, and I am heartbroken.’
He added to The Hollywood Reporter: ‘I find some solace believing she is reunited with her son Benjamin.’
Elvis star Butler also shared a tribute with Variety, saying in a statement: ‘My heart is completely shattered for Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla at the tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie.
The 31-year-old actor continued: ‘I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared. Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered.’
