Gwyneth Paltrow was living the high life in the ’90s.
During an interview, the “Shakespeare in Love” star got candid about doing illicit drugs during that period while being famous.
“It was great, talk about doing cocaine and not getting caught. You could just be at a bar having fun, dance on the table,” Paltrow said on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

The Goop founder reminisced about nightlife in New York City before social media existed and added party goers could be out and about without being flooded by paparazzi.
“There were no camera phones, especially in New York, there were no paparazzi. You could stumble out of a bar and go home with some rando and no one would know.”

Paltrow has confessed to using drugs in the past and has previously shared her experience with MDMA while in Mexico with her now-husband Brad Falchuk.

Paltrow additionally said in a 2019 New York Times interview that she believes psychedelic drugs and the degree to which they impact addiction will be the next big thing in wellness.
Meanwhile, Paltrow was joined by her celebrity friend Hilary Swank on the talk show. Swank is expecting twins soon and is hitting her third trimester.
The “Iron Man” actress, who is a mother of two, gushed about her children growing up “so fast” on “The Late Late Show.”
She continued to tell the talk show host about her 18-year-old daughter Apple being a freshman in college and her 16-year-old son Moses. Paltrow responded to Corden’s question about which year of motherhood was her favorite.
“I have to say I loved every single stage…and every stage I felt like ‘oh I wish I could freeze time like I’m never going to love them more than this,’ and then you just love them more.”
Paltrow co-parents with ex-husband Chris Martin, with whom she shares Apple, and her son, Moses. The pair divorced in 2016.
The Hollywood actress went on to discuss how she is adjusting to her daughter not being home as often.
“‘I’m not handling it very well. It’s a huge change because Apple’s really hilarious, and she’s got a big presence.”
“So when we are around the dinner table and somebody says to Moses ‘what is it like with your sister not home?’ And he’s like ‘quiet,’” Paltrow emotionally said.
